Navigator MSL Completes Epic "Across the World in 80 Days" Challenge!

Bedford, UK (August 5, 2024): Following a remarkable 83-day journey (we know, a little longer than Jules Verne!), the Navigator MSL team has successfully completed their virtual walk from Bedford, UK, all the way to Beijing, China! This incredible feat involved a collective 25 million steps, raising vital funds for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity.


"We are absolutely thrilled to have completed this challenge," said Tom Smith, Senior Buyer and fundraising planner at Navigator MSL. "It was a fantastic way to promote health and well-being within the company, while also raising awareness and crucial funds for Sands, a charity doing incredible work here in Bedfordshire."

The challenge, aptly named "Across the World in 80 Days," encouraged employees to download a dedicated app that tracked their daily steps. Whether it was a quick trip to the shops, or a dedicated lunchtime walk, every step counted!
"The app made it easy and fun for everyone to participate," explained Olivia Withers, Telesales Executive and fundraising organiser at Navigator MSL. "The leader board added a friendly competitive element, but ultimately, the goal was to work together as a team and reach Beijing."


The Journey Continues!
While the team has reached their virtual destination, the fundraising for Sands continues. Navigator MSL is committed to reaching their target of £10,000, and they're inviting everyone to join them in making a difference.
"Every donation, big or small, will make a real impact on the lives of families experiencing the devastating loss of a baby," said Hannah Salton, Customer Services and fundraising coordinator at Navigator MSL. Celebrating Success!
To celebrate their achievement, Navigator MSL will be hosting a special "Company Day Out" for all participants. The location, somewhere in the middle of the UK, will be a fun way to say "well done" for reaching Beijing (virtually!).
