Telesales Executive


We currently have a vacancy for a Telesales Executive in the Sales department in our Sharnbrook office.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Supporting an external Area Sales Executive to reach set targets for the area, both sales value and margin.
Pro-active contact with customers on a regular basis to increase spending and margin. Using various support tools to assist in targeting customers in product ranges not being purchased. Completing quotations and processing orders accurately and timely to meet daily cut-off for next day delivery. Liaising with the warehouse for priority orders. Keeping the customer informed of current offers and promotions. Keeping correct and accurate customer card information with all contacts and details.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work towards achieving/exceeding the Company/Regional targets
  • Follow up Area Sales Executive visits and quotations
  • Meet your personal KPI’s set by your Line Manager, plus daily requirements from your Area Sales Executive
  • Report your daily calls and activity to your Area Sales Executive
  • Be aware of competitor activity and feed this through to the Area Sales Executive to create new price lists or promotions to compete
  • Pass emailed or faxed orders to your Sales Admin support to enter these orders
  • Build a good working relationship with your Sales Admin to assist in clearing your time to make outbound calls
  • Enter verbal orders yourself, upsell and sell promotions to maximise the order value
  • Include cold calls in your daily/weekly call sheets
  • High attention to detail when pricing and creating price lists
  • Be a team player by working with your Sales Admin to get the best for the area
  • Data entry of orders being both accurate and speedy
  • Work to meeting the cut-off time for the warehouse to deliver next day
  • Liaise with warehouse for any priority orders
  • Ensure customer card record is up to date with all correct information
  • Work through contacting all customers between yourself and your Area Sales Executive
  • Build strong relationships with your customers to achieve loyalty from them
  • Negotiate prices on a by-order basis or ongoing business, looking to achieve maximum profit margins for the company

Sales Office work environment
Hours 8:30am - 5:00pm, Mon-Fri, with 1-hour lunch break
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
£20 per month towards gym membership
Christmas shutdown (save annual leave days)
